DOUG IS 22

My oldest baby is even older still. Doug turned 22 on Saturday, June 20, 2008. He is a cute kid and we love to have him around, and are very lucky to have him as part of our family. He has grown into a good looking, very polite, hard working, young man. I am very proud of him and love him very much!

Doug's very own transportation, paid for by himself! His mom and dad tend to drive it occasionally-- and it is hard to go the speed limit. I like it!

Look at those baby blue eyes! He's such a stud! (I think I interrupted a game of Wii that he and his cousins were playing at the family cabin at Fish Lake). Doug and a friend went back to Washington DC this past spring. This is Doug at a Smithsonian. I think he was making fun of the size of the HUGE elephant type creature. Another "personality" shot at the War Memorial in Washington DC. He is such a character! He is really fun to be around.

Here is a video that Jamie took of Doug's cousin, Kam, singing happy birthday to him. It is from a cell phone and was sent to Doug's cell phone, so it's not very good quality. It is darling!

Well birthday boy, I've probably embarrassed you enough, so I will stop adding pictures (although I have a ton more if anyone wants to see them). I love you very much, and I am extremely grateful to have you as my son!!! --Dad
